This is Hasegawa's new tool Fw-190D. It is probably one of the best engineered models out there today. The fit of this kit is exceptional. There is almost no need for filler. The initial release of this kit in th euS included a PE set to add some extra detail. There are numerous aftermarket resin sets available but they are not needed. this kit builds just fine OOB. I finished mine in a JV-44 scheme. This unit was known as 'Galland's Circus'. Their sole job was to protect Me-262's when they would take off and land. The bright underbelly was to prevent German AA units from shooting down their own planes. The decals for this unit are included in the kit. |
