In my opinion the Spit Mk IXc was the epitome of the Spitfire planform. Hasegawa's 1/48 version is a true gem. The fit is excellent and detail abounds. This particular Spit is done up in the colors of French ace Pierre Clostermann in D-Day markings when he flew with the RAF's 602 sqdn. He was one of the first French pilots to land at Normandy after the invasion. The model is painted with AeroMaster acrylics.
