On April 29, 2000 we had an adopt-a-thon at a local pet store. My husband Steve, my daughter Jenny and I transported some of the shelter cats to this event. Leo was one of these cats to be transported. After spending the day with Leo - who happens to be the most loving cat I've ever come in contact with, we decided we could not send Leo back to the shelter. So we decided to foster him until we could find him the "perfect home". I knew deep down inside that Leo's perfect home would be ours and sure enough, after fostering Leo the Lion for one week, we adopted him. We are very happy to have this loving ham to be our sixth kitty.
