This pictures doesn't do the fireplace justice.  The wood is beautifully perserved, with great carving detail.  Best of all, it's a working fireplace.  Hopefully, I won't have to use it for a few months, though.
Look!  I have a BIG closet.  I love it.  Lots of room to hang clothes and  lots of shelves.  I have my dresser in here now, and more stuff than I'd like to admit.  Plus there's still room to change in here if I need to (for those last minute wardrobe adjusts in the morning.
Would you just look at my bathroom?  The sink?  The tile floor?  The clawfoot bathtub.  Heaven in ceramic.
Ta da!  My sunny room with built-in shelves.  And, as you can see, I've already started strewing stuff all over.
Here's the room at the beginning of the paint job.  From blah to "Sun Shower."
The broken window: my own special  welcome to J.P.
Look, even my doorknob is pretty!
MY NEW HOME
Part One: Painting the Room

Of course I can't move anywhere without doing some painting, and of course the color for my new room is yellow.
Part Two: My new Home
I am completely in love with my new apartment.  These pictures show why.
This is the front entryway of my building, as viewed from the stairs to my second floor apartment.  The stained glass is so beautiful; I feel very rich and luxurious with such details.  Unfortunately, on the exterior of the building it's covered/protected by plexiglass, which deadenness the effect a bit (it is, however, pretty much the norm all over Boston).
