| This alligator was sunning itself at a canal next to the road. Daringly we got out of the car for this picture. The alligator did not move. Unlike the first alligator, which lunged into the water, sendning Mom, Jon, and I screaming back into the car, rolling up the window and locking the doors. Where was Dad? Strolling along down the road. Brave or foolish? Depends on who you ask. |

| While we were at the Fort Myers Pier fishing (or, in my case, watching others fish and taking innumerable photos) a small boy was looking out at the water and babbling about dolphins. At least I thought he was babbling. Then, by chance, I saw dolphins swimming! The babble wasn't babble after all. I never saw dolphins in the wild before. It was amazing. |
