A passion. That is the way I would describe my love of Photography. Catching the moment and preserving it for posterity. Searching for that certain something to commit it to film.. I have always enjoyed wedding work and I have worked on many Weddings, Portraits, and Ceremonies as well as close up work and Brochure work.

I first began shooting pictures in the late seventies as a member of the Helensburgh Camera Club where I staggered my way through the learning process. By the eighties I had completed with flying colours a full time course in Photography and Audio Visual Technology. I progressed from there to a permanent position as a technician in Falkirk College of  Education where I acted as the college Photographer. While there I set up a small Business working Freelance. In 1986 I had 3 slides accepted for the Doomsday Book anniversary and in 1990 I won the Falkirk District Sport Photographer of the year award.
