We currently have 38 holes in our rabbitry, which is a converted garage.  The original building was falling down, but J&J's Jason Smith fixed up the rabbitry.  We are proud of the way the structure turned out.

Our watering system is home-made, but quite effective.  It is a continuous cycle, self-filling system, complete with a Culligan in-line filter.  The continuous cycling of the water, eliminates microrganism build-up, and keeps the water oxygenated.
We also have an automatic septic system in our rabbitry.  Designed by J&J's Jason Smith, with help from his Dad Royce, the system ensures a healthy environment for all of our stock!!  Pre-formed, galvanized metal slides are in place under each row of cages.  The slides are on an angle that promotes gravity pull on feces and urine.  The slides dump into commercial guttering which empties outsided of the barn into a compost bin.  The compost bin is loaded with Red Worms, which of course, cut down on odor and speed up the waste to compost procedure.
The Rabbitry is insulated with pre-fabricated styrofoam sheets, and has a window unit air-conditioner in place.  We also installed a fresh air ventilation system, made up of, the blower from a water cooler, which is mounted outside of the barn, and flexible plastic tubing, which has slits cut into it.  The system cycles fresh air through the rabbitry.
