Video games page... hmm... well basically all this had was a review for Final Fantasy VIII for Playstation, but now the reviews are coming more steadily. I own a PS2 and a GBA, but I have played GC and XBOX games, so I really won't be that limited in my reviewing. Reviews to come: DDRMAX: Dance Dance Revolution (PS2), Enter the Matrix (PS2), Final Fantasy VII (PS and PC), Zone of the Enders (PS2), Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner (PS2), and Kingdom Hearts (PS2). Final Fantasy VIII (available for Playstation and PC)
Final Fantasy VIII is a massive RPG (role-playing game)from Square EA (a.k.a. Squaresoft). The game puts you into the life of Squall Leonhart, a SEED at Balamb Garden, a sort of military sanctuary. After becoming a member of SEED, your first mission is to assist the Timber Owls in their fight for freedom against the Galbadian Army. This small fighting team's problems blow up to ten times their size when they find out their next mission is to assassinate Sorceress Edea, a witch who is trying to control the world and cause war and destruction. Up to their confrontation on Disc 1 about five-ten hours of gameplay pass, depending on how much leveling up you do, how many sidequests you complete, and how fast you intend on getting through the massive storyline. Most people finish it faster on their second outing, however. Telling more of the story would give much away, so I offer these screenshots for you to think about. A superb game, Final Fantasy VIII is among the greatest of all RPGs.
