I created this sorceress using the Meteorb build that has become the cookie-cutter build for this class in patch 1.10. Most of my questing was done with other players on battle.net. I found that she was an excellent character to use as an initial bnet character in that sorceresses need very little in the way of equipment to be very effective vs most of the monsters in the game, Normal through Hell. I had very few problems beating the game, with the exception of the Hell Ancients. I was able to beat them with the help of a Whirlwind barbarian who had the entire Immortal King set, and even with his help I died 6 times. It is my belief that a sorceress’ battle versus the Hell Ancients is almost impossible to do alone without uber equipment. I defeated Hell Baal in a party of 8 very powerful adventurers.
Since attaining the status of Matriarch, I’ve been using her to find equipment for my other bnet characters. She is an excellent Andariel, Mephisto, and Mausoleum runner, and she is able to wear tons of Magic Find gear since she requires so little equipment.
