REPORTER: Former New Kid on the Block, Jordan Knight, is on a different block calling the shots for his debut solo album! REPORTER 2: And tomorrow we will be with Jordan as he shots the video for the album's first single "A Different Party" [that's what the actually said] This is the preview for it... REPORTER 1: See you tomorrow JORDAN: Ever since I was little I wanted to a musicial style video... (clip of dancing on the set of the video) JORDAN: It's been about 4 years since I've been on a set but it feels like last week, you know so I feel at home... February 17, main feature... REPORTER: Jordan Knight drove fans crazy as a New Kid on the Block, now at almost 30 and a music biz vertern. Jordan took the que from John Travolta for his music video comeback (clip from set of "GITY") REPORTER: For his very first video as a solo artist, Jordan Knight is drawing from the past, but it's not is teen dream days as a New Kid on the Block. JORDAN: Ever since I was little I always wanted to do a musicial style video. (clip of video) REPORTER: That's why he is cutting it up at a carnival, just like in one of his favorite musicals, "Grease". (Clip of "Grease") REPORTER: Of course John's 50's moves got a 90's update by Jordan. And the lyrics to his song "Give it to you"... well they're a long way from "Wop bop a lou bop" JORDAN: This single is really about ah... it's really all about sex really. (Clip of video) REPORTER: At the photo shoot for the cover of his upcoming album, Jordan confessed that at 28, he is still recognized as an old New Kid. JORDAN: I go to a club and I give them my ID, they'll sit there and go 'I know, yea, alright, I know you' REPORTER: But that doesn't mean he hasn't changed.
