Knight! Singer Jordan Knight. *Jordan and Dave shake hands* How ya doin?

JORDAN: Good.

DAVE: I am so happy to have you hear *Jordan nods all shy-like... aww!* This

is excellent. And we're sort of matching... *They are both wearing black

leather jackets*

JORDAN: Yeah, Men In Black, you know....

DAVE: Men In Black. You know, I planned this because I've always secretly

harbored a fantasy to be a New Kid on the Block. So I'm hoping that MAYBE...

But anyway! Now let's get into something, I de---, I want----, I'm definatly

looking forward to talking to you about what's goin' on, you got all kinds of

stuff in the works. But first, let's get to #6. There's a little question

about it. One of our groups on the countdown that did a demo that featured an

appearence by Montel Jordan. Do you know who that is?

JORDAN: *Puts a finger to his head and laughs, kind of a "Pffffbbt" noise, or

something*

DAVE: Search! Search!

JORDAN: Say it again real quick....

DAVE: Ok... Montel Jordan made an appearence on the demo tape of one of the

groups on the countdown. Ya kno who it is?

JORDAN: Noo Idea.. OH! Deborah Cox.

DAVE: No, but that might be true also. *Jordan makes a face like "Darnit!"*

But it's not true for this, because it was 98 Degrees. Ahh...

JORDAN: He wrote Deborah Cox's songs, also..

DAVE: That's right. What do you think of these guys? 98 degrees? At #6? Have

you seen them?

JORDAN: They're great.

DAVE:... Quite talented. Here they are at Number #6...

(plays video, comes back form video)

DAVE: ....Now here with jordan Knight. You got a record commin' out!

JORDAN: Yes I do.

DAVE: A solo record! April 6th, self titled right?

JORDAN: Yes, April 6th. Uh.. All through the, uh, record I was tryin' to

figure out a name, and I never could, so it's just... Jordan Knight.

DAVE: But that's like your re-presenting yourself. This is you, Jordan Knight.

JORDAN: Yeah.

DAVE: And, uh, the first single is out right now, "Give it to You." Can we

actually hear a little bit of that? It's a REALLY cool song. I was listening

to it earlier today...

*The Cover of the "Give it to You" single is shown as a graphic. The song

starts playing from the part that goes..." And soon you'll see.... I don't

care who leads as long as we do horizontally.."*

DAVE: Here we go. There's kind of a Timberland feel to this.

JORDAN: Yeah.

DAVE: Is that what you were goin for? It's a very, very cool alblum.

JORDAN: I was kinda goin' for, um... This was the last song I did on my album.

And, I um.. I didn't produce it WITH, Jimmy Jam produced it. And, uh, I asked

him if he could do a Timberland-ish track, with like, um... Some sound effects

like from a Sgt. Pepper's uh.. uhmm.. Like from Sgt. Pepper's alblum. So, we

mixed the two, and the chorus came up and we were stumped for an idea. So I

said "Why don't ya go into one of those Miami booty-shaker beats?" And that's

what we did, so *laughs* that's what came out. (LEMME JUST SAY THIS.. HEARIN

JORDAN SAY "BOOTY-SHAKER" IS LIKE... SOOOO AWESOME.. AHAHA)

DAVE: Nice!..... Hey, excellent, it sounds very, very cool. And you're headin

out on tour this summer? With the Boys of Summer?

JORDAN: ..And I'm one of them!

DAVE: Nsync, right?

JORDAN: Nsync... uh... 98 degrees, is it?... No, no, no! 5ive.

DAVE: 5ive. All the number guy-groups, it's hard to keep them straight. But

5ive, and Nsync, and YOU! So you're gonna be kinda like the elder statesman.

JORDAN: I'm gonna be the Granddaddy of the tour.

DAVE: Are ya gonna give them advice, and that kinda thing?

JORDAN: Everyone's gonna be commin' to my room for advice... I'm just gonna be

like the father figure.

DAVE: That'll be Ok. You've been through it.... Alright, now let's get back to

DAVE: Excellent! It's gonna be really, really cool. I'm headin' down for the,

uh, for the Cancun part of Spring Break. I cannot wait to get out of this
