Knight and Jerkins are working on a song titled "So Sorry" that's scheduled to appear on a soundtrack album for the popular MTV show "Total Request Live" and possibly on his sophomore solo album to be released this fall on Interscope Records. "It's an upbeat song with a lot of energy," Knight said. "He's good at both really writing songs and having up-to-date, funky beats, a mix between old and new, classic sounds and contemporary sounds." Knight, 29, was in the Pleasantville studio about six weeks ago to hear the music that Jerkins created. He returned Tuesday night after flying from Boston to Philadelphia and driving from Philadelphia to southern New Jersey. He gambled at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort. He said Pleasantville reminded him of the Worcester, Mass. neighborhood that he grew up in by being a racially-mixed, working-class community. Jordan Knight Articles and Transcripts Home |
