Summary: *Joe said he had jet lag. They started to talk about flying. Joe said he liked it when the plane ride was a little bumpy since it rocks him to sleep. Scared when they take off. *Played about 30 secs. on Rain. Joe on the album-good, solid, lean, damn good, more mature, guitar driven and says more than just I love you. *Joe helped out with top 5 at 9. He was be funny with all of the artists on the countdown. *Played a sample of "We don't Want to Come Down". Joe explained the song as looking down at world, seeing how crazy people are and how materalistic we are, inspired by a young space shuttle crew looking down on earth, we like up here and don't want to come down, we want to keep the party up here. *Then a girl called in talking about how she had Joe's signature as a tattoo on her near her hip. Last time Joe was there, he wrote "Been Here, Done that" on a paper for her. She got that tattooed. Then she asked is there is any truth to that been here, done that, and he said you mean did I "hit and quit it". *Someone asked about his ideal date. *He was talking about his Bravehearts and if they were in a video. "Are you ready, what are we going to say when Mtv won't play my video,(yells)you're going down. What are wew going to do when Kiis doesn't play my song,(yells) storm the station" *Played the entire song of "If I Run Into You",(Very cool song, a lot different than STS) definately wants to make a video. You know how Blink 182 made fun of boybands (good fun though), and then there's Enimen going on Nsync, and Limp Bizkit and maybe he needs to return the favor for his boys (boybands) since everyone puts them down. *He read a commercial for K-Mart, "Blue Light Special" *Someone asked him I know your not fruity but if he were a women, what member of a boyband would you like, Joe's all Fruity, "I'm fruity in a good way, in a heterosexual way, I'm as fruity as they get" Then he wouldn't answer the question, no way. *SUPRISE GUEST- They call the guess up and Joe starts acting like the dial tone. (It was funny). They get the person on the phone, Joe goes "Jizz" aka Jordan Knight. Jordan tried to fake his voice for a good minute but Joe could tell it was him. Joe seemed really happy to talk to Jordan. He gave Jordan a lot of compliments. When the producer got a hold of Jordan before, Jordan sand "See ya, Wouldn't want to be Ya" (a line from "If I Run into You"). It's was cute. Jordan said he liked the song. Jordan was calling from L.A. Jordan wants to be in the video for the song, Joe talked again about the video shoot about boybands.Jordan asked when Joe's album comes out,Jordan said his single comes out July 2nd. Joe asked Jordan, when are you going to go on the road with a piano and sing to all the girls. Joe then goes on about how talented Jordan is. Talk about how there wont be a reunion. Jojo then says maybe the two of you can make an appearance at his upcoming summer concert on August 24th, Jojo Jam. Jordan said "me and Joe and the piano singing If you go Away. Joe started to sing a line " And a Joey, Joe". Joe's all that was the first song written, and I was given credit since I was there. Jordan thought it was funny. (I hope the concert happens) *Joe's favorite cartoon character from the cool network, Foghorn and Leghorn, "I said, I said" (Joe tries to imitate him). From the ghetto network, the the sabertooth tiger (imitates him) *A girl asked Joe to sing a little Frank Sinatra, so he sang All the Way. But on the last part Joe changes it. In the background when he is singing, the someone is talking, (the girl is trying to record it and is getting feedback from the radio since it's too loud), so Joe sings in the song "If you turn your radio down, you won't get feedback when I am singing to you, all the way. It was pretty funny. *"Rain". Stay the Same was about learning to love yourself. Rain says to take the love, put it into action, and stand up to yourself. When your feeling down, feel like you'll never learn and you keep making the mistakes, when it rains, you feel good, it's raining on everyone, it's like misery loves company it makes you feel good like your going to make it through somehow After that he left at 11:00PM. Joe was really funny throughout the whole show.It was a good interview. |
