FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ???
Why should I choose a "virtual" assistance over one that physically works in my office?

Virtual Assistants are just as, if not more so, competent to handle any administrative task that helps keep your business running smooth. Thanks to today's technology, VAs can do anything from producing a simple letter or managing bookkeeping duties for your business. Simply put, VAs can not only get the job done right, but get the job done
efficiently, accurately, and at a fraction of the cost of hiring, training, and maintaining a regular, full-time employee.

How much does a VA cost?

Most VAs work as sole proprietors from a home-based office. This allows them to charge only for time spent "on task" or per project. For clients who commit to a minimum amount of hours per month, there can be a discount incentive.

In general, a VA will go over the project or task to be completed with you beforehand in order to avoid wasted time and calculate your invoice based only on the time spent on the project or task itself. VAs are a great cost-cutter for your business. There is less overhead, employee compensation, benefits and taxes to pay.

The bottom line? You get more for your dollar! VAs and the benefits they offer are worth their weight in gold.

How much time will I need?

This will depend on how much or how little you wish to delegate to your virtual assistant. It is recommended that you take a few minutes to list what tasks take away from your time that could best be spent building your business. That list is the basis for what you will contract out to your VA. Together, you and your VA can decide what tasks you can delegate out to them, as well as determining an average number of hours per week.

What is the long-term commitment?

Ideally, this will be a long-term business relationship that is beneficial to your company. However, you and your VA will be able to decide together the terms of the time frame of the relationship. The business agreement will be considered a continuing agreement until terminated by either party.

Does a VA come to my place of business?

Generally a VA works from their home-based office  and provides their services virtually. Many clients may be great distances away from their VA, which will make office visits non-feasible. However, a VA may choose to visit with local clients at their discretion on a by appointment basis..

What about trust?

Developing a business relationship in the virtual workplace requires trust on both sides. An initial interview with your VA will allow both of you to decide the comfort level and parameters of the business relationship. In addition, most VAs will have a privacy policy in place for their clients. If you are not comfortable after an initial interview, Dragonfly Administrative Services can assist you in locating another virtual assistant that would better meet your needs.

Are there limits or what a VA can do on a project of task?

Generally no. Each VA, a an independent business owner, has the discretion to set up their own selection of services to offer their clients. This is usually based on their expertise and areas of interest. Dragonfly Administrative Services offers an array of support services for our clients to choose from.
