The splendor that is Alaska just cannot be done justice by any picture. With its forever snowcapped peaks, glacier-filled ravines and majestic mountains rising up out of the water and the land around them, it's a paradise for people who truly enjoy nature. It is also really cold, which dampens a bit the wanderlust that these sights stir within me. Just the same, the memories that rush back to me each time I look at these pictures fill me with awe at the Earth on which we live. We are fortunate.
