New Orleans -
The Big Easy
Michele and I flew to New Orleans, Louisiana, on Wednesday, May 9 and returned on Saturday, May 12. It was our first trip to Nola, otherwise known as The Big Easy. We enjoyed it very much, and tried to sample as much of the flavor of the city as we could during the two and a half days that we were there. We stayed just a block outside of the French Quarter and walked in each day to experience all that it had to offer, from the sights and sounds to the wild nightlife. We visited a couple of the local cemeteries, walked around a section of the Garden District and took a Vampire Tour and a Swamp Tour. And now we would like to share our experiences with you.
