The House - A Virtual Tour
When you first enter the house from the garage, you walk through the kitchen and end up in the dining room. The dining room (as seen from the entryway) is the first picture on our "virtual tour". From the dining room you look into the living room, which is the first of the pictures listed. The second living room picture is the view from the first steps of the stairs leading to the second floor. The main thing to note is the beautiful bookcase that we added to the media niche, to the right of the fireplace. I recently added two pictures of the living room featuring the new sofa and loveseat that we purchased. They are eggplant, or purple, and fit the decor quite nicely. We are very proud. Next, we turn our attention to the stairs. You can see on the walls some of the artwork that I brought with me, including the "art projects" I talked about in my Thoughts about two years ago. At the top of the stairs is a hallway, which is shown from the doorway of the master bedroom looking toward Michele's and my offices. The master bedroom is shown from three angles. The first is from the corner across from the master bathroom. The second is from the entrance to the master bathroom. The third is from the master bathroom toward the bedroom door. The two nightstands, the bureau and the dresser are the items that we purchased at Reed's a while back. Heading down the hallway we first come to Michele's office. This used to be her extra bedroom, until we returned the single bed to her aunt and cousins, to whom it actually belonged. We used the space freed up by the removal of the bed and her carousel horse to make the room double as a gym. Just around the corner from Michele's office is my office. It is my sanctuary, as it was in my condo. The first picture shows how my desk is positioned in the room, facing the window, with my stereo and television set up next to it. The second photo shows my bookcases and the closet, where my clothes are hanging. I hope you have enjoyed the "virtual tour". For those of you who had seen the house prior to my moving in, I'm sure you realize just how much of a transformation the place has undergone! The last three pictures show the new and improved state of the backyard. We have put a lot of effort and money into getting it to look the way it does, and are happy with the results. We hope you enjoy the look of our backyard, as well. |
