The banana is among my top 10 favorite foods. I prefer my unadulterated banana just slightly underripe. Be careful about eating bananas that are too underripe, as they might cause stomach irritation. The unadulterated banana is good at room temperature, or cooled from the fridge. The unadulterated banana, warmed in the microwave, is also a nice snack on a cold winter day. The unadulterated banana is great before, after, or during a bike ride. It fits nicely into a cycling jersey pocket. It has been said that the unadulterated banana prevents muscle cramps, but I have not studied the scientific evidence closely. |
