Kindergarten

You’ll never guess where I’m at?  I’m am sitting in a school that they call kindergarten.  Its pretty cool.  There are a bunch of other boys and girls like me.  And there is all this stuff to play with.  Its kinda neat, except that they don’t have any computers.  What kind of school is this if they don’t have computers in kindergarten?  Oh well, I guess I’ll have to convince daddy to buy me a laptop just like mommy’s so that I can bring it with me to school.
My class is kinda neat.  My teacher is really pretty.  Her name is Miss McEntire.  She won’t tell us her first name yet, because we have to call her Miss McEntire and not by her first name.  I’ll bet I can find out her name before the week is up.  Any takers?  I like Miss McEntire.  She has red hair just the same as me.  Except hers is a bright red, kinda orangish, but its still red.  So I liked her right away.  And she knows how to sing too.  When we had music class, she started singing, and all I could do was stare at her.  #1 she is very pretty, and #2….SHE CAN SING!  I didn’t want to sing with her or the class, cause I can’t sing that well, so I just mouthed the words.  It was fun.
We also have a helper for the class, her name is Miss Lisa.  Her full name is Miss Lisa Scobee, but she said that since she isn’t teaching the class, we can call her Miss Lisa. She helps us out by doing things that we have trouble with, like scissor cutting and giving us paints and sparkles and glue when we have our art class.  I think I’m going to like her too.
I have to tell you about one of the girls in my class.  Her name is Lizzie.  Her real name is Lizabeth, but she said that I could call her Lizzie.  My mommy and her mommy know each other, and said Hi and introduced us when we were got here, so it was kinda cool going in there with somebody since my mommy couldn’t stay.
They don’t let mommies stay with you in kindergarten.  I think its because they have already been there and done that and don’t want to do it again.  So I had to say goodbye to mommy.  I didn’t want to do it, but she said to remember that I had my locket on and that I would never be alone without her, so it made me feel much better.
Pretty soon, Lizzie and I were the bestest of friends.  She has a mommy and daddy too, but instead of having a baby brother, she has a big brother.  And she has a doggie too, plus a ferret.  I think that is soo cool.  She says the ferret belongs to her brother, but she plays with him more that he does, so technically she says that the ferret is hers too.  She said that she and her daddy got to go to Disneyland this year.  She got to meet this cool dragon that lives there called figment.  Her daddy got her this little figment to take home with her, but she got mad at him and wouldn’t leave the store without a big figment.  Her daddy said that he was going to leave her there, so she threatened to not talk to him the rest of the trip.  Needless to say he got her the bigger figment.  We girls sure know how to wrap daddies around our little fingers.  I’m going to ask mommy if Lizzie can come over to our house and play sometime, and watch Star Wars on our big screen TV, I think she’ll like that.
After music class we had to take a nap.  I haven’t taken a nap since I was 3 yrs old.  There is no way I am taking a nap.  But the teacher said that we wouldn’t get our snack if we didn’t take our nap.  I found out from Miss Lisa what our snack was, she said that our snack was graham crackers and milk.  That’s my daddy’s and my favorite treats together, so I guess I’ll go take a nap.  I will talk to you later.  Its nap time.  Graham crackers and milk, here I come!
