DEPARTMENT OF RESOURCES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Department of Resources and Economic Development covers a wide area of operations ranging from developing areas like the Pease International Tradeport for commerce and business to managing parks to fighting forest fires in New Hampshire and across the United States. Divisions include Business and Industrial Development, Camping Reservations, Film & Television Unit, Forest and Lands (Forest Fire & Enforcement), International Commerce, Economicl Development, Parks and Recreation, Nurseries, Ski Areas and Trails and natural heritage. The primary users of the radio systems are the Forest and Lands, and the Parks and Recreation. Other units have access to the frequencies, but seldom use.

It should be noted that the Forest and Lands, and eventually all but the 31.90 frequencies will be incorporated into the NHSP Digital System. This has raised concerns among Fire Departments and Forest and Lands personel as to the inability to easily interact with the local FD's due to the inability to monitor Digital traffic without the spcific digital capable radios.
