UPPER VALLEY MUTUAL AID
The Upper Valley Mutual Aid consists of communities both in New Hampshire and Vermont along the Connecticut River near Hanover. Hanover dispatches all the communities except Lebanon, Enfield & Cannan which is handled by Lebanon. In addition, a handful of communties that border the Twin State Mutual Aid to the North are dispatched by both Hanover and Twin State. Most communities use their town name instead of numerical ID's (I.e. Fairlee Engine-1, Orford Chief, etc.)

TWIN STATE FIRE MUTUAL AID
Twin State is made of the areas surrounding the Connecticut River Valley of Northern Grafton County in New Hampshire and Caledonia County Vermont. Dispatch is handled by the Grafton County Sheriff's Department. Like Upper Valley M/A, Twin State communities normally use their town name and unit type for ID's. However, "K" indicates a Chief Officer (I.e. Littleton K-1).
