SEACOAST FIRE NET
The Seacoast Fire Net is comprised of the Southcentral and Southeastern Communities of New Hampshire from about the Merrimack River East to the Atlantic Ocean and Maine Border. All of the communities in Rockingham County are either on or have access to "Seacoast" or "190". Many communities in Hillsborough, Merrimack, Strafford counties as well as Essex County in Massachusetts and York County in Maine. The primary organizations responsible for organizing the seacoast area are the Interstate Emergency Unit (IEU), Seacoast Fire Chiefs and Border Area Mutual Aid. The IEU is charged with the numbering and equipment color codes for the agencies that operate within the Seacoast System. While 154.19 is the primary "Seacoast" frequency, many communities operate on smaller regional or local Frequency systems. Communities listed below on separate frequencies from 154.19 are noted. Dispatch centers that dispatch on 154.190 include: Rockingham County, Hudson Fire Alarm, Durham/UNH Dispatch, Newmarket Dispatch and many others use for Mutual Aid Coordination. It is not uncommon for a multiple alarm fire to have tones generated on 154.19 by 2-4 different dispatch centers making for occasional confusion.
SECOAST FIRE RADIO
154.190 / 136.5 - "Seacoast" Dispatch & Mutual Aid
154.280 / 136.5 - Fireground (Statewide)
154.160 / varies - South Central NH Secondary (many towns use)

Rockingham does utilize a CTCSS(PL) tone when tones for monitors are being generated. Just for voice traffic. Rockingham is also planning to goto a Narrow-Band combined P25 Digital & Analog system with tone alerting on 154.19 and operations on separate P25 channels. This may be the first fire service system in New Hampshire to begin active use of the P25 capabilities.
