I have been tyring to get some power out of my truck lately while retaining full creature comforts and decent mileage per tank. With Dyno Session #2, the rwtq actually is more overall, just the way it came into it was different. I am going to look into the acutor adjustment to remedy this. Though there was only a 4rwhp difference between the dyno sessions, the truck is much stronger on the road and I feel it is due to the latest round of modifications. With Dyno Session #3, the only change I feel that had any impact was the brand of gas. I have always felt that BJ's Warehouse Club gas is the best gas. The reasoning behind this I get 20-30 miles per tank more vs. any other brand and the truck always felt slightly stronger. The numbers speak for themselves. With Dyno Session #4, I put on a MAC CAI for a 90 MM MAF at the end of Dyno Session #3 and the truck lost rwhp, a lot. But to be fair, I decided to give the truck a few days to learn the new modification. It paid off I consider big time The truck is now faster after this modification was learned. The only problem I have is that fact that my A/F ratio is way, way to rich. CLICK FOR THE A/F RATIO. With Dyno Session #5, I put on a Metco 4lb lower pulley and tuned the computer using a Superchips Chip at Big Shot Dyno in Hudson, OH. The truck is much stronger and the numbers prove it. With Dyno Session #6, I have simply put some mileage on the truck and it is breaking in. The truck has almost hit 110 MPH on a 600 DA night, so it has to be making some power.
