We love our little pets. Let us tell you a little about each of them.

CATS

Chip, a black short haired bud. He is a good cat, very friendly, very accepting of other cats and a good all around guy. I got him from a friend who had him and his sister Stephanie in a barn. He was the first cat I brought in.

Stehpanie, a mix of stripes short haired girl. She is a very good cat, but does not like to be picked up, just petted, but not to much or she will bite you with love. She is missing part of her right ear. She was stepped on by a dog when she was a kitten. I got her about two weeks after I first got her brother Chip.

Oscar, a black and white short haired male cat with a goatee. He is a pretty good boy, he just really likes to sit on you and face you, which can be a pain. But he justs wants to love you. I got him from my mom who was going to put him outside.

Julianne, a tortie cat. She is a wild cat. Anyone who knows how tortie's are knows how this terror is. She loves to sleep next to me. I got her from when Melissa had an apartment. She was in the hallway and I took her.

Karma, she is a mix of stripes short haired girl with white paws. She is a stinker. She used to be friendly, but when Melissa moved in, she got mean...sometimes I see her sleeping with the other cats though. I got her for Melissa from a local animal shelter. Click her picture for her webpage.

Ashes, a black, long haired girl She is a sweetie. She loves to play with the other cats, sometimes Julianne a little to much. She was dropped off at a friend of Melissa's one day. So she went and brought her home.

Sable, a black, short haired little girl. She is a real cutie pie. She looks at me and she knows I am a sucker. She used to follow her brother Lucky around everywhere, but now that she is a big girl, she is her own boss in her little world. We got her and her brother from Melissa's parents.

Lucky, a cute Morris looking cat. His name is Lucky because he is lucky we took him. He is a real playful little boy. He seems to beat up his sister Sable a lot. We figure he will until he can play with the bigger cats.

FISH

Here is a picture with all four of our fish. Since then we have lost some of the little guys. The two remaining "big" little guys are actually getting pretty big and love to see us and get all excited when we are there. We try to give them a good life. We got the fish from Wal-Mart, and figured if they did not make very long at least they would have passed away in a nice little pond rather than the prison they were in at Wal-Mart. It is actually an interesting little pond now. We have snails, worms, algae, plants, rocks and very clean water. UPDATE : 2002 It seems that a bunch of baby goldfish have come from somewhere. Either the fish were playful or the came from some plants we purchased. UPDATE : April 2003 It seems that after a hard rain, the pump got clogged and we lost over 50 of the little fish. The "big" little guys are still ok though. UPDATE : May 2003 We decided that our pond was getting to crowded so we started looking for homes for them. We found some, but unfortunetally, something in the neighborhood found them. We think either a raccoon or a falcon. UPDATE : July 2003 We lost one of the original 4 "big" little guys to what we believe dropsy. He had the diesase for over a year and a half. We thought he was just goofy looking. LITTLE FRIENDS NO LONGER WITH US

PRINCE April, 2000 - October, 2001 R.I.P.

Prince was an little African Dwarf frog that we had gotten from Target in an Aqua-babies container. He was a good frog, he would move around, sometimes sit motionless for hours, then just go crazy and eat the little pellets we gave him. We had upgraded him into a bigger container in early April-May of 2001. We miss this little trooper.

ROLLY-POLLY April, 2001 - July, 2003 R.I.P.

All I can say is what a good little guy. He was a little trooper. He always put on a good show and the little kids loved him. He had the disease dropsy and we just never knew it until it was to late. We will use a lot less fish food, he loved to eat. We miss this "big" little guy. He is the big guy in the pic.
