You Know You're Obsessed When....
1. You create a Emily of New Moon RPG to play the role of your favorite character and to invent story that you would like to see in the Emily series.
2. You create a webpage about Emily of New Moon
3. You know kinda all the quotes by heart ( You are able to say the quotes before the character in the series say them)
4. You wear your hair like Emily do
5. You start to wrote story or poetry because Emily inspire you to write something like she do.
6. You know by heart all the poem that Emily wrote.
7. You want Teddy to make a painting of you.
8. Your behavior really look like Emily's one.
9. You want to meet someone of the cast.
10. You are jumping everywhere because you heard that the third season of Emily will be aired soon.
11. You are able to talk about Emily during all day long
12. If you watch the episod and after watch the episod that you tape just to be sure if you understand everything.
13. You watch over and over a particular episod ( for me it's the desapointed house one!)
14. You speak to yourself in your mirror.
15. You have a "Jimmy's book"
16. You want to became a famous writer like Emily
17. You want to play Hamlet ( even though you are a girl ) like Ilse.
18. You are a big fan of Dicken's like Emily ( Specially Oliver Twist )
19. You called your worst ennemy Rodha in her back
20. If your tape of Emily are so used that you are not able to watch them anymore
21. If you have all episod on tape ( The French and the English version , hehe I am really obsessed!).
22. When you can be sarcastic like Ilse.
23. When you dream about Emily ( an episod or that you are in PEI with them )
24. You own more than one copy of each of the Emily
books because you want to
have all of the different covers...
25. You don't have a journal, but you have a jimmy-book
26. Whenever you get mad at someone you give them the
Murray look.
27. You often tell people to "Beware--of--Italics."
28. You think it's fun to say "Toast and bacon and
marmalade" in the most mysterious
tones... just like Teddy...
29. You have dreamt that you visited the Emily set, and
Stephen McHattie let you
interview him on the front porch of New Moon... (if
only I could remember his
answers to my questions ;-))
30. You create your own languages, because Emily and
Ilse created their own.
31. You learn to speak Emily and Ilse's language
fluently.
32. You watch an episode of the show, and compare it
with the books; something
happens that is not like the books, and you tell you
mother, "That's not the way it
happened it real life." She laughs, and you say,
"What? What did I say?" until a few
minutes later you realize, you said... "real life."
33. You know the answers to Who Wants to be a
Millionaire, because of things you
have seen on Emily of New Moon. (example: "I think I
know that... is that the war
Jimmy was talking about in the poem in the Enchanted
Doll?")
34. You began looking for actors from Emily in other
shows before you ever saw
any episodes of Emily or any pictures from the show!
35. You whistle at the ceiling when you are disgusted
or disapprove of something...
like Cousin Jimmy...
36. If you don't whistle at the ceiling, yet you are
still disgusted, you sniff and say
"Sly and deep, always sly and deep." This works best
when the person you're
speaking of is named Em'ly or anything similar.
37. You name your cats Emily, Teddy and Jimmy and then
whenever visiting neighborhood cats come around you
have to name them too, so
you now also have Perry, Isabel and Malcolm from
S'cat'land, Saucy Sal, the wee
angel, and a bird named Aunt Laura, plus you are
looking for one that you can name
Ilse, Mr. Carpenter, Dean Purriest...
38. If you think of any Prime Minister, you always
think of Perry!
39. You tell everyone, "It will be a nice day... if it

names teddy kent or ilse
