Some preliminary work (i.e. pick-up shots) was certainly done on this episode. I have a couple of the call sheets. However, it seems, due to the plot bearing similarities to a real-life event, no more work was carried out.
The rivalry between the Ashmoore
and the Melts families comes to a watery end when Caitlin Ashmoore
and Alexander Melts are both found dead in a graveyard by the local
priest, Dave Errol. The two families long past is kept a quiet
secret, still not being revealed to Barnaby & Scott. The next
victims could be Gaynor and James as they receive threatening
letters. But who killed Alexander and Caitlin? Was it a jealous
villager who longs to know what goes on behind closed doors or a
member of the family who thought a murder could bring back
friendship? Another villager then comes to a sticky end.
