JOHN AT 'THE LEE' FETE
MIDSUMMER'S DAY 2003
Despite the exorbitant murder count in Midsomer, John Nettles braved it on Midsummer's day and returned to 'The Lee' village in Buckinghamshire to open the annual summer fete.
In his opening speech he thanked everyone for watching 'Midsomer Murders' and for helping to contribute to his pension plan! We can rest assured that although Daniel will only be appearing on our screens once more, John is here to stay as DCI Barnaby.
As always (!!) the sun shone in Midsomer land, making 'The Lee' seem even more like the quintessential English village.
