Matthew 19: 4 - 6 Jesus
asked, Have you read, that he who made them from the beginning, made them
male and female? And he said: For this reason, man shall leave his father
and mother, and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become as one
flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man put asunder.

Corinthians
1C 13: 1 - 13
If
I speak in tongues of men or of angels,
Love
is patient and kind; it is not boastful or rude.
As
for prophecies, they will pass away;

What we share is stronger and more powerful than anything in this world or anyone in it could throw at us. Now I've never been one to wear my heart on my sleeve. But you've changed me , Meg. You've made me want to go on with my life. Not just go through it, but live it - live every second of it. Because your love inspires that in me. It's made me love in a way I never thought I would. It's made me stop looking and stop wanting and start celebrating. Because every moment with you is joy to me. You take away my fear, Meg. You make be believe in love. And I never will let anyone or anything take that away from either of us. I love you, Meg. Now marry me. |
You
are everything I have ever hoped for in a partner, and you've never let
me down. I feel safer in your love than I do on any other place on earth.
We were meant to find each other. We were meant to be together. And I will
love you more and more every day for the rest of our lives.

Antonio's Blessing
Well, we have seen these two people come together, and love, despite incredible obstacles. I know I speak for the both of them when I thank you all for your dedication in joining Meg&Ben in the holy sacrament of marriage here today. So, please, rise and join me in a blessing of their union.
Lord, hear our prayers and accept the gifts we offer Meg&Ben. Today we have made them won in the Sacrament of marriage. May the mystery of Christ's unselfish love which we celebrate in this Eucharist increase their love for you and for each other. We ask you this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
You have declared your consent before the Church. May the Lord in His goodness strengthen your consent and fill you both with his blessing.
What
God has joined, no one may abide. Amen.
The Wedding Reception Toasts:
Casey's
toast:
You
followed your dreams across the country, Meg. You weren't afraid, and those
dreams - well, they brought you to Ben, and a lifetime of happiness to
come. Ben, you didn't let your past blind you. You saw Meg for the precious,
unique woman she is. And I know you will always cherish her. What you found
in each other is a rare and beautiful thing, Mr. and Mrs. Evans. May we
all find their kind of deep , sweet and boundless love in our lives. To
Ben and Meg!
Sara's
toast:
I
know that getting to this day has not been easy. But I guess anything worth
having is certainly worth working for. Everything that you've gone through
has made your love deeper and stronger, and I know that it is going to
last forever. Now, I love you both.
Ben's
toast:
From
the moment I met you, every day has been one glorious surprise after another.
I didn't know I was capable of being any happier than I was on the day
you agreed to marry me. But let me tell you, nothing compares to what I'm
feeling right now. I know no one knows what the future holds, but one thing
I am sure of, and that's that our love will grow only stronger, every day,
for as long as we live. Thank you Meg Evans, for making me the happiest
man alive.
