| Several members of Bangor Ice Skating Club, took part in the 2007 Northern Ireland Open at Dundonald Ice Bowl. Lucy Blair won three gold Medals, Level 6 Ladies, Senior Exhibition and Exhibition pairs. The Pairs event was doubley special as she partnered Clare McIntyre, who is also a member of the club. Olivia King won her first major competition. She took the gold medal in the beginner competition to go with a 3rd place in the beginner exhibition and 5th in the pairs exhibition events. Young Brooke Andrews skated in her first ever major competition and was delighted with a 2nd place in the beginner girls aged 7 and 8. Three other skaters, making their debut in a major competition, were Chloe Stewart and sisters Danielle and Loren Rutherford, all of whom did exceptionally well.
