Alec's autobiography From: Yes book Translated by: Jing Yi Fans club: Alec's international fans club Special thanks to: My Dad for helping me read this whilst i wrote it in english. Chapter 1 Talking about me, Alec su's story we must start at 11th Sept 1973. On that day it was the 8th month 15 day in the chinese advent calender, mid-autumn festival, I was born at some hospital in TaiPei. When I was born, it was very successful. I'm not very sure how heavy I was when I was born, but my mother told me, I wasn't a fat little baby, but I was very healthy. At the time I was the only child in my family, so I was deeply loved by my parents. Why was i named You Peng? Because i was born in the moon festival (aka mid-autumn festival), my mother is also born at the moon festival like me, 2 moons (in chinese) added together makes the word 'Peng' and so i was named 'You Peng'. My little brother and I have an age difference of 6 years. When little I was like an only child, my parents put alltheir attention on me. They let me learn a lot of thing, can say I learnedqin qi shu hua (qin=piano refering to musical qi=chess shu=reading writting ect hua=drawing/arts) a bit of each. By this you can tell that they really loved me, and put a lot of hope on me. Other then that, my parents took importance on my schooling, especially my father, he took more importantce in this then anyone else. As he thought that schooling is the most important thing of all, especiall males must finish their schooling, so later in life he can do well in his furture career. Chapter 2 Ask me what had happened that is a memorable moment from my childhood, actually i haven't much clear memories of things that happened when i was young, especiall from when i was in kindergarden, it is just a blur to me. But my mum has told me one thing , that i remember very well, and i can share this with all of you. When I about 4-5 years-old i had once got lost, my father and mother were , of course, extremely worried, they went looking for me all over the place. In the end the a police had found me and has told my parents to come and collect me there. Maybe because i was too young, didn't really know how to be scared, I'd asked the uncle policeman to buy me and ice-cream, which made my parents laugh. When i was little my parents were very strict on me, but they also spoilt me, if i asked for something, they would buy it for me. For example learning to electrical piano, even though my family wasn't at great financial times. They were less eager on toys though, especiall with things like video games. Actually when i was little the most in fashion thing, which is also my favourite thing was the arcade games, which made the very hardly punished me get hit, my father who hardly hit me even had to punish me that time. At that time the most fashionable thing was the arcade games, it was the thing i loved the most to be there, but i do not wish to play, just watchign the others playing also made me very happy. Once i was too busy watching everyone playing the games there, i forgot i needed to go home, and i only remembered to go home at 11:00pm, to me , who always went home right after school, using the views of my parents, this was a very big mistake, and of course i couldn't get out of the fate of getting hit/punished! In the end my parents brought a computer game for me, but i can't remember the reason for this now. i just remember that because of this computer game, the never fighting me, got into a fight with someone else. At that time a male classmate borrowed this most loved computer game off me, and day after day, he didn't want to give it back to me. One day i couldn't stand it any longer i met him after school to have a fight with him. When i now think about it it seems to be weird. What funny is that he met me at the agreed time. What was even more fuuny is that niether of us normally fought with anyone. That fight was obviously not gory or bloody, in fact , it was probably the most hilarious fight ever. He locked my neck whilst i hugged his head for a while and that prety much it. We never figured out who won the fight and I'm still not sure that i got the videos game back in the end. I was so childish. When i think back to it now i think it's quite funny. Chapter 3 Before i had shared my nughty behaviuor with all of you, actually those happening to me again isn't a great possibility, as when i was young i wasn't always going out to play ect, i prefer reading, so it would make perfect sense to call me a book worm. I am number 1: Thanks to my family, i always paid a great deal of attention to my grades at school. Plus, I was a bit of a show-off and liked the feeling of being number 1. That was why i studied always very hard to become number one! As a result, I eventually climbed to the top of my school in terms of grades. However, thanks to this, I was also rather conceited. When I saw others cheating, i was always the kid that told the teacher. That was why the good students didn't like me as i was competition, but the bad students didn't like me either since i was a goody-two-shoes. During my days in school, i really didn't have many friends. Though i recieved good grades, not all my teachers liked me as i talked a lot in class. They couldn't punish me as i was doing so well in my grades. I did well in all my subjects but my favourite subjects had to be English and Maths, whilst history was my worst lesson as , the same as everyone else, i hated memorising things! It is sometimes said that fate rules over people. Though it's true i didn't have many friends at school, I did have one or two which i still keep in contact with now a days. Wan wen liang is a great example, during elementary school , we were in constant competition to be number 1 as he was a very good competitor. We were no where near friends. Enimies was much more a better word to use to describe our relationships then. |
