Jun Chong began his training in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 6. As a young black belt he'd continue in Hapkido. When he was 24 he'd already have his first martial arts school. In 1978 he became Black Belt Magazine's Instructor of the year.
Master Chong now hold a 9th degree black belt in Hapkido and an 8th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He also holds a 7th degree in Goju-Ryu and trains in Aikido, Kendo, boxing and various weapons.
Master Chong is a popular trainer who brought out several videos and appeared on many covers. Master Chong traines several champions and celebrities such as Lorenzo Lamas, Phillip Rhee, Simon Rhee, Sam Jones Thomas Ian Griffith and Sugar Ray Leonard. Master Chong himself worked in some cool movies as an actor and producer. In some of his movies he appeared with several of his students.
Master Jun Chong is proud at his schools and family. His wife and dauhter are black belts and his youngest children will follow their footsteps soon.
