Sophia Crawford was 17 when she travelled through Europe, and ended up in Thailand, where Van Damme's Kickboxer was being shot. This interested her and she got to be an extra in the movie. She was not a martial artist at the time, but she got to be in other movies, and met the Funky Action Crew Stunt Team. Soon her martial arts skills were discovered.
She became a rising star and appeared in more than 30 movies as an actress and stuntwoman, using her Tae Kwon Do talents, taught to her by Jun Chong.
5 years later she went to the USA and got her breakthrough as Buffy's stunt double in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She also amde many other movies, some of which with stunt-God Jeff Pruitt, who is now her husband.
