Bio and martial arts background At school she turned out to be a great athlete, and wanted to train for the Olympics, which she eventually didn't because of fear. She found a new passion; Martial Arts, and gained a lot of confidence. After staring with Shotokan Karate and gaining an advanced brown belt, she went to practise Tae Kwon Do. She has now practised for over 16 years and has a fourth degree black belt. She went for competition in 1985 and continued till 1988, while training very intense. Her hard training gave her a lot of medal and first places. After winning many gold, silver and bronze medals at the age of 27 she decided to join the Olympic Team, in 1988, with success. Soon she became a leading stuntwoman, and has been in many movies, performing stunts, fights and doubling for some of the most famous actresses such as Nicole Kidman. Dana also has experience with kickboxing and Kun Fu. besides that, she rides horses, and is an accomplished gymnast, and dancer.
