Story

Last time, Earth won Mortal Kombat and we'd be safe. We were wrong!!!!

Shao Kahn lost the tournament, but he tricked the Gods and opened the portals to Earth with the help of Sindel, Kitana's mother.

The fights are no longer in a distant realm, but here on our planet. The same warriors, this time with the help of Jax must face the same evil, but there is not much time, for our realm is merging with Outworld.

The heroes must face Kahn's fighters Smoke, Scorpion, Ermac, Motaro, Baraka, Reptile and Sheeva, and off course, Shao Kahn himself. But they will meet many more people, many more foes.
My thoughts

The sequal to the best movie everr, but unfortunately not as good. There are more characters. Too many, 'cause some of them are only there for 2 minutes. There are more fights, but they are short. Compared to MK1, it is bad, but if you don't it is ok.

Some of the fights are pretty good, some of the characters are very cool, and the special effects are, although not always very good, funny and renewing. It is a nice addition to the first movie. The movie is best for a younger public.

Just watch the flic without thinking of MK1 and you'll have a good time.
