Bio and martial arts background

A great man in the movie industry, very famous from the very first instant. Multi-talented as a martial artist trained in Karate, actor, stuntman, stunt-coordinator and director. He has been training in gymnastics and martial arts since the age of 11 in Pittsburgh, Pensylvania. He began with Dragon Fist Kung Fu, did some Bando and Wah Lum Praying Mantis. At the age of 18 he had his own martial arts school. There he founded the PGH Stunt Team. Music is another of his talents.

At the age of 20 he began working with stuntpeople. Beginning as an extra he would grow to be more. He became famous after his work for Mortal Kombat. Pat Johnson knew John after working together on WMAC-Masters and wanted to work with him again in the sequel to Mortal Kombat. The second movie was his success. He had a starring role, did stunts and stunt-coordinating. The producers wanted him for the series as well. After that many more movies/shows would follow. His fame is now a fact, after being asked for hit series such as Buffy, Vampire Slayer and Robin Hood.

John still works together with many people het met on WMAC-Masters; Dave Morizot, Chris Leps and Erik Betts. They all work together in shows as MK: Conquest, Buffy, Alias and Beowulf.

Another of his specialties is 2nd Unit Directing, which he had to do for Beowulf, besides stunt-coordinating.
Now, being very famous and popular, he's asked for more movies/series, which will be released soon.

But, John is mostly proud for his marriage and his lovely daughter.
