As a child Jeff moved a lot. He lived in Zweibrucken (Germany), New York, Texas, Michigan and San Fransisco. Later Jeff attended Arlington High School in Riverside, California, where he starred in school plays. He was also very athletic and played football, tennis (he was the intramural champion), basketball and baseball.
In 1979 he attended the University of California at Irvine and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama in 1983. At that time Jeff started practising martial arts; Aikido and fronted a band; 'Crime'.
In 1984 his acting carreer started with a role in the soap opera 'Search for Tomorrow'. In 1986 he left the show to persue other roles. He also continued taking martial arts. He's a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Aikido. He learned many chops and kicks from Billly Blanks, Mr. Tae Bo himself.
He's had some great roles since then. A great show was Raven, where he could show off his martial arts skills. By now Jeff is very interested in working behind the camera.
