Bio and martial arts background As a child he was already a fan of Hong Kong action movies. In 1996 his dream became real as he travelled to Hong Kong to become a star himself, which was easy for him, being a great martial artist. Jude started in martial arts in 1986 when the martial arts movies were more popular than ever. His first art was Shotokan Karate. Now he has also practised Judo and Wushu. After watching more movies he knew he wanted to become an actor and stuntman. The best place to start that carreer was in Hong Kong. It was a difficult start since no one in Hong Kong knew English. Jude had to depend on himself and had to learn Cantonese, which he did. Eventually he became a translator for the stunt crew members and more and more accepted and trusted. Jude has now worked together with some of the greatest stars such as Andy Lau, Yuen Biao, Jackie Chan and J.C. van Damme and is a rising star. Many cool stunts and starring roles await him. |
