Bio and martial arts background Ridley took his english name from his favorite director: Ridley Scott. Ridley Tsui started doing stunts at the age of 12. Doing stunts was in his blood. He's also one of the last opera-trained stuntmen, which he joined at the age of 9. He's famous 'cause he'd do stunts that would scare other stuntmen. His powerfull kicks are also welll known. At the age of 19, he became a succesfull stunt-coordinator, and is asked for many movies. Besides choreography, some acting and stunts, Ridley is now also a director, since his 22nd. At the age of 31 Ridley had his american breakthrough, in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, in which he had an acting role, and stunts. He also did some action directing. He is now noticed by some major american producers and his future will be very successful. Even some cool commercials are now choreographed by him, for example a Grolsch and Pepsi commercial. |
