In Hong Kong Xin Xin Xiong was a great Kung Fu player and Wushu athlete. He trained Wushu since he was 12.
Soon he used his skills for movies. He often worked together with the likes of Jet Li and Tsui Hark. He would double for Li in his first movies 'cause Xiong was better with wire work. Sometimes as an actor in action movies, but he'd rather do coordinating and action directing.
In some movies he still does stunts or doubles for the lead actors. He prefers coordinating, but the stunts he'd like to see are so dangerous, he has to do them himself, for no one else dares or is able to. His favorite movie is the Blade for the lack of wire-work. The action is 'real'.
Xin Xin is most famous for his roles in the Once Upon a Time in China series. He, as many others, went to the US and started making movies there. One of his most known roles is the one in Double Team with Van Damme.
