Studied Cesar-Therapy, which is like Physical therapy. He wants to specialize in sports and is thinking about what to study next and is also busy with first aid in sports and sports massage.
Besides that he's a multi-faced sportsman. He practised soccer, tennis, swimming and many more in his youth. At the age of 10 he realized martial arts are his passion and started taking Judo lessons for 4 years and received a blue belt. The school stopped. He wanted to look for new sports and searched for something more athletic, with kicks, and found Shaolin Kempo, which he trained for 4 years as well. He quit Kempo thinking it wasn't fast enough and started doing Tae Kwon Do, which worked out fine. Within 3 years he would have his blue belt, but had to quit since he had to move for his study, and a serious leg injury.
While doing his study, he would move a lot, making new friends, seeing other countries and experimenting other arts. He did Karate, Aikijitsu, some Jiu-Jitsu and even Tae Bo. He also practised some fitness. With his gymnastics friends from the group SUCA he regularly goes out for climbing, sailing and snowboarding.
Now after being kind of settled, he concentrates on martial arts again. After a while of training in Capoeira, he now focusses on Tae Kwon Do, gymnastics and Kickboxing..
In 2003 Johan appeared in his first movie, in which he is also a stuntman and assistant choreographer. He also wrote poems for the movie and still writes poems as a hobby. Johan made more movies with the B-Pro Stunt Team since 2004 and continues doing so.
Right now Johan gives stunt courses with Raphael Klompers. Johan also spends as much time as possible with his lovely girlfriend Petra. A new hobby and passion of Johan is voluntary work for cultural integration in the Netherlands.
