PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Brenden Morrow scored late in the third period to help the
Dallas Stars tie the Philadelphia Flyers, 2-2, on Thursday. With goaltender
Marty Turco pulled in favor of an extra attacker, Morrow put a feed from Bill
Guerin past goaltender Robert Esche with 35 seconds remaining in regulation to
even the score at 2-2. Turco turned aside 20 shots and Rob DiMaio tallied his
third goal in his last four games for Dallas, which has earned at least one
point in 10 of its last 11 games. Esche, who extended his unbeaten streak to
four games, made 37 saves in the tie. Tony Amonte registered a goal and an
assist for Philadelphia, which had its four-game home winning streak snapped.
