DENVER, CO -- Milan Hejduk scored with under two minutes gone in overtime to
lead the Colorado Avalanche past the Philadelphia Flyers, 3-2, on Saturday.
Hejduk, who registered his fourth point in his last three games, took a pass
from Teemu Selanne and beat goaltender Jeff Hackett for his team-leading 17th
goal of the season. Selanne added his fourth power-play goal and Philippe
Sauve stopped 20 shots for Colorado, which halted a season-high six-game
winless skid. Hackett, who suffered his sixth defeat in as many starts, made
28 saves in the loss. Sami Kapanen and Radovan Somik each had a goal for
Philadelphia, which recorded its third overtime loss in its last six games.
