Last quarter moon, what the heck, had a nice clear night so I setup the lx200 and all the cameras for a night under the stars. Had nice still conditions but some folks across the lake were lighting fireworks, which don't appear to have hurt these photos. Around 3:00am a fog bank moved in so I called it a night. All photos guided with the ST-4 and shot on KLE400. |

A single 60 minute exposure taken with a 200 mm lens mounted piggyback on the SCT. This was taken at the same time as the photo on the left. |

A single 60 minute exposure of the Andromeda galaxy, I finally had the patience to get to an hour! This was taken with the f/7 80mm refractor. I have a couple of these now that I'd like to try stacking. |

Finally! A reasonably focused North American Nebula shot that's not trailing. If you look closely, you can also see the pelican nebula in the lower right. This is a single 60 minute exposure. |

OK, you'll need to squint to see it... but that's the entirety of the veil nebula, obviously, a 30 minute exposure is not enough, although I think I framed it pretty well. This was taken with the 200 mm lens. |

Unfortunately, I had to rush this photo of the veil nebula. It was past the zenith and the quarter moon was rising, so this is a single 30 minute exposure, not very well centered either. This was shot through the f/7 80mm refractor. |
