JV'S PHOTOGRAPHY
When I was in 1st grade I had an old box camera that someone had given me.  In Highschool I bought an old 35mm and some lenses and later took a B/W photo lab class.  Now I use 2 35mm cameras and also a small digital camera.

One problem with black and white in Japan is the cost to for developing and enlarging.  For example, for one 5x7 it costs about 300 yen.  regular size are about 60 yen apiece.  The other problem is the labs often mess with your prints- they seem to think' "there can't be that much black in the photo- bery bery dark- me righten."

I hope to take more photos in and around the cities of Japan, and take advantage of the fact that I'm here in Japan all the time.
I've included in the next few pages some of the photos that I've taken over the years that I like.
