Wildlife
Wild Kuwagata beetle on the side of our house
Two very rare beetles:  Hirata Kuwagata, and Herculese Kabuto (according to Tuck)
"Nakano Park" (our house)
Kamakiri outside our 2nd floor window
some sort of fly Tuck caught..  I think we'll call it Buzzmeeye Chibabefly..
We came across a nest of Hibakari snakes when tearing down the old tractor shed in January.  They are a non-poisonous colubrid, not to be confused with the poisonous Yamakakashi, which looks similar, especially when young.
A very pretty moth we found hanging on to the chicken wire after a very windy night
