OUTER GLOW |

First select the object to which you want to add the outer glow. Use the selection tool you think best for the type of object your choosing.
Promote the selection to a layer(Selection>Promote the selection layer) and save the selection to an alpha channel.(Selection>Load/save) Duplicate the bottom layer Invert the selection and delete.(selection>invert) Then go to Selections>modify>expand. For outer glow 5-10 usually works best.

Invert again and fill with glow color. Unselect the object. (Selections>select none.
) Adjust > Blur> Gaussian blur 5
Merge visible (right click mouse button then merge visable) And that should do it! |
