Baronne Prevost

Baronne Prevost is just a baby rose in my garden.  It was a very easy cutting to root, doing better than many of the other roses I rooted in 1999.  From everything I have read about Baronne Prevost it is an excellent rose. Rebloom is reported to be excellent. Timeless Roses says "This is one of the best repeat bloomers of any rose, old or modern."
Blossoms are a clear, bright pink shading to lilac.  Light green foliage resists diseases well, and this rose seems to have less trouble with fungal diseases in particular than other Hybrid Perpetuals.  Growth is upright, making it a good candidate for borders or mixing in with Hybrid Tea roses.
