I've read many good things about Camelot over the past couple of years, and this year I determined to try this rose.  Even though my interests are turning more and more towards English-style shrubs and antiques, I do not want to close my mind to the other fine roses that are available.  Camelot is a classic rose from the sixties, and obviously well-loved since it shows up consistently at many nurseries and bare root rose tables every spring.
This large-flowered grandiflora sports elegant coral-pink roses for cutting.  Roses are produced singly and in sprays.  Dark green foliage is admirably disease resistant which is always a big plus in my garden because I do not spray my roses.
I've just purchased an excellent bare root specimen, and I'm looking forward to getting it into the ground this week.  Always plant bare root roses as soon as your soil can be dug.
