Dream Weaver has been given the place of honor in an extension of one of my favorite gardens-- the shade garden by our pole barn.  The new area moves beyond the shadows into a comfortable southern exposure for roses.  In the center of the new site we've erected a
4 x 4 post on which we hung a new cedar bluebird house.  A cap and ball tops off the post, adding a decorative touch.  Dream Weaver, a rose perfectly suited to being trained as a pillar, will be winding its way around the post this year.  The tropical color mix of coral buds, pink roses, and green leaves will harmonize beautifully with delicate old-rose fragrance.  Dream Weaver has floribunda and shrub rose genes in its background giving it good disease resistance and vigorous growth.
