Fair Bianca

Fair Bianca

Breeder:  David Austin

Parentage:  Graham Thomas x Mary Rose?

Introduced:  1983

Class:  English Shrub

Color:  White

Scent:  Licorice

Size:  3 x 3 feet

Zone:  4-10

This petite English rose has wonderfully fragrant blossoms!  The round, pure white cups are filled with rich, anise scent.  One whiff just won't satisfy.  It's a rose you'll come back to over and over again.
Fair Bianca should be a good-size shrub in my garden by now, but a move last spring to a too shady spot stunted its growth and promoted a bad case of blackspot.  In September I relocated Fair Bianca to a sunnier spot in the garden with hopes for an improved performance next year.
Fair Bianca is a good choice for combining with Sharifa Asma and Mary Rose.  The white, rich pink, and pale pink roses look good together.
